Why MP Peter Kaluma did receive President Ruto

President William Ruto on Sunday attended a church service in Homa Bay town.

The President with his entourage fellowshipped at the AIC church.

However, Homa Bay Town MP Peter George Kaluma was a no show in the service, despite being expected to receive the president.

Later, the MP would take to social media to state why he could not show up to receive the Head of State.

“Just got information that President Ruto will be in Homa Bay today. Welcome; I’m unable to be with you due to lack of means,” he stated.

After the church service, Ruto addressed in Homa Bay town, where he pledged to fulfill his preelection promises.

Meanwhile, Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei blasted Nyanza leaders who skipped the event.

“H.E Ruto is in Homabay but luo nyanza leaders have skipped it yet they should be there to articulate their people’s development agenda; it’s about time that Tinga (Raila Odinga) should release these leaders to be part of kenya in charting the future of our people.”
