Kanduyi Member of Parliament John Makali has officially taken over from his predecessor Wafula Wamunyinyi.

While handing over, Wamunyinyi lit up the event with sporadic jokes which left Makali and his new office in stitches.

“This is not full handing over,” Wamunyinyi said.

“I know you are under pressure from your team to take over office even before the Parliamentary Service Commission can conclude the process,” Wamunyinyi joked.

Further, Wamunyinyi lightly said, “You have to know that not everyone here voted for you. Even me here, I voted for myself; not you!”

Wamunyinyi handed over on Tuesday, and he’s yet to declare his future in politics.
