Tanzania’s airplane crashes into Lake Victoria

An airplane belonging to Tanzania’s Precision Air has reportedly crashed into Lake Victoria.

The passenger plane had left Dar es Salaam heading to Bukoba through Mwanza as reported by Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation (TBC) on Sunday morning.

TBC reported that the crash was caused by heavy rainfall and strong wind.

TBC explained that rescue exercises were ongoing.
