Former Nairobi Gubernatorial aspirant Dr. Miguna Miguna backed Deputy President William Ruto saying that President Uhuru Kenyatta and Opposition leader Raila Odinga should face the DP head-on.

This is a rare backing that Ruto has received from the vocal lawyer who has been his fiercest critic.

Miguna on Thursday said Uhuru and Raila decided to fight Ruto using proxies terming it an act of cowardice.

“It is cowardly for both Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga to fight William Ruto through proxies,” Miguna tweeted.

“Instead of using their party dogs to fight William Ruto, they should face him head-on. Don’t shadow-box. Charge him in court for corruption. Let Kenyans see the fireworks now; not later.”

Miguna’s remarks indirectly hinted on how the deputy president is strong and this may waves to Jubilee leders who are against Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid.
