Men's Conference

The Men’s Conference this year will focus heavily on family law and mental health issues.

The conference will take place in the Carnivore grounds in Nairobi on Valentine’s Day, February 14.

Dr. Frank Njenga, a famous psychiatrist who will speak about mental health difficulties among males, will be one of the guest speakers at this year’s event, according to TV journalist Stephen Letoo, who is organizing the event.

“He has over 40 years’ experience on matters of mental health not only in Kenya, but across the globe,” Letoo said this in a video that he posted on his Facebook page on Thursday.

For conference attendees, there will also be a free prostate cancer screening.

Lawyer Dunstan Omari will talk about family law and discuss the Supreme Court’s most recent ruling on how wealth should be divided in the event of divorce.

The Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ezekiel Mutua, well-known performer Ian Mbugua, and Mugware Kariuki from London, who will attend virtually and provide additional insight into how England addresses mental health issues, are also scheduled to speak at the Men’s Conference.

The workshop will take place from 2 pm to 8 pm, and entrance tickets will cost Sh1,000 per person. The conference’s theme for this year is Creating Better Men in the Society.
