Revealed: time President Ruto will make inaugural address at UNGA

President William Ruto is  is attending a four-day United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York, USA.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, participation in the high level meeting is beneficial to the country.

“Participation at the highest level in the UNGA is particularly important for Kenya as the country seeks to complete the second year of its non-permanent membership to the United Nations Security Council.”

The statement further revealed that the president will give his maiden address at 9pm EAT on Wednesday.

In addition to the address, the Ministry said at the bilateral level, President Ruto will lead Kenya’s quest to harness relations with the United States of America, guided by the 5 pillars of bilateral strategic dialogue partnership.
