Kajiado Senator Ledama Olekina has told off Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party over the ongoing nomination row.

According to the Senator, Jubilee and Orange Democratic Movement, ODM are picking women from outside Kajiado and Narok counties to serve as nominated MCAs in the counties.

Olekina, an Azimio pointman, called upon women from the two counties to rise up and defend their nomination slots.

“Kajiado and Narok county women do not allow your nomination slots to be taken by women from other counties,” he said in a tweet on Wednesday.

Further, he accused Jubilee and ODM parties “for neglecting the Maa community.”

“How do you bring a person from Nakuru or Mandera to become an MCA in Kajiado surely?” He posed.
