A woman, 24, has been charged in court for unlawfully and purposefully inserting a toothbrush in her daughter’s vagina.

Naomi Kerubo Ndemo is blamed for submitting the foul act on her four-year-old daughter on differing dates between August 13 and October 24, the year 2018, at Umoja area.

According to police, Kerubo was living with another woman whom they were engaged in a cozy relationship for an unknown timeframe.

Eventually, it is stated, that Kerubo requested some cash from her partner, who declined to give her the money, prompting an argument.

Kerubo and her girl were kicked out of the house and she looked for asylum at her sister’s place.

The court heard that Kerubo’s girl fell sick out and when she was taken to clinic, the specialists found she had been sexually assaulted.

Upon cross examination, the girl disclosed that her mom had embedded a toothbrush in her private on various events.

This prompted Kerubo’s capture after the issue was reported to police.

The woman denied the charges and was freed on a Sh200, 000 individual bond.

Kerubo’s case is set for hearing on May 30th.
