Two underage girls raped during school hike at Menengai Crater

Two school young girls aged 15 and 16 have been admitted to medical clinic after they were purportedly raped amid a hike at the Nakuru’s Menengai Crater.

It is said that they had gone with four young men who allegedly turned on them and constrained them to have intercourse.

A number of people from the Kenya Red Cross alongside individuals from the public allegedly busted the young men in the act.

The two girls are admitted to the Nakuru Level Five Hospital.

They are students from Uhuru High School and Moi Forces Academy respectfully.

Three out of the four suspects were arrested by police and are as yet looking for the other one who fled the scene.

The three suspects spent the night at Maili Kumi Police Station in Bahati Sub County and are currently anticipating arraignment in court.

Police said the medical report that will decide charges favored against them.
