More than 5,600 arrested in ongoing crackdown on matatus

More than 300 individuals who failed to comply with the rules have been arrested in Kisumu over the most recent two days as police increased crackdown.

The county police boss Job Boronjo said that the crackdown has not been restricted to just matatus, reporting that 253 mechanized including tuk tuks, private vehicles and motorbikes were gotten.

Addressing journalists in Kisumu, Boronjo seen that the crackdown will continue expediting sanity on the roads.

He exhorted drivers and travelers to follow the traffic tenets to abstain from being arrested.
