Mayhem as Sonko allegedly storms Raila’s office without notice

Vocal ODM Blogger Robert Alai has alleged that ex-Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko stormed the office of ODM leader Raila Odinga at Capitol Hill on Thursday 21st January.

According to Alai, Sonko tried to meet Raila without an appointment, and when he got to the office found the AU envoy in another meeting. He was therefore asked to wait for the former PM in the waiting room, after moments of waiting Sonko resorted to storming out alleging that he had been kept waiting for too long.

“Mike Sonko tried to storm into Raila’s office without an appointment this afternoon. Raila was having another meeting and so he was asked to wait in the visitor’s room. He stormed off because he thought he was kept waiting for long. Desperation tu inamsumbua,” tweeted Alai.

Sonko is yet to make a statement about the allegations. His reason for wanting to see the ODM leader Raila Odinga has yet been established.

Sonko was impeached from the Nairobi Governor position on 17th December after the senate upheld the decision of Nairobi county MCAs to have him impeached.

After his impeachment, Sonko has been seen close to Deputy President William Ruto, with reports alleging that he has decamped to Tanga Tanga. It has also been reported that Sonko  is to be tasked by Tanga Tanga to rally the people of Ukambani behind DP William Ruto.
