In Machakos County, a woman’s body was pulled from a bush on Friday.

Elizabeth Wanza, 29, was found dead on Thursday night at Five Hills in the Eastleigh neighborhood of Machakos Town sub-county.

The incident was recorded as a murder incident report to the Machakos police station.

“It was reported by a member of the public that there was a body lying in a thicket at the Five Hills area,” police said.

The body was taken to Machakos Level 5 Hospital after police had processed the scene and before an autopsy.

Police stated that they are looking into the situation.

“The scene appeared disturbed as there were signs of struggle. The case pending under investigations.”
