BBI report to be made public next week

President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition chief Raila Odinga with some members of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) at a past meeting in State House, Nairobi.

The Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) task force has asked Kenyans to wait until November 26 to know what the report entails.

The task force warned the media and members of the public against false reports doing rounds on social media purporting to be from the team.

“We urge the media and members of the public to get in touch with us to confirm the veracity of reports, letters and press releases claiming to be from BBI taskforce.”

President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga are expected to jointly receive BBI task force report on Tuesday, November 26 at State House.

BBI was the feature of the 2018 handshake between Uhuru and Raila in the heat of the contested 2017 polls that was at that point degenerating into violence.
