Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga has expressed dissatisfaction at Members of County Assembly from Homa Bay who boycotted an event he presided over.

Rusinga ward-rep Okuku Miregi said the county ODM MCAs boycotted the event due to county assembly politics.

Of the 58 ODM MCAs, only three went to the homecoming fete for Rangwe MP Lilian Gogo at Omoche Secondary School.

Those in participation were Elias Orondo – Gem East ward, Charles Awino – Gem West ward and Sophie Salim – nominated MCA.

“This is a county where the majority of MCAs belong to my party. I expected to meet them here,” said Raila.

The ODM chief rebuked chaos witnessed recently in the county assembly, where the county legislators have been battling to remove assembly Speaker Elizabeth Ayoo.
