Hearing of DCJ Mwilu’s corruption case postponned to next year

The hearing of corruption case labeled against Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu has been pushed to January 2019.

This is after the parties in the case filed different objection applications before the hearing could proceed.

During a hearing on Thursday to determine whether the case against Mwilu should continue, Lawyers representing the DCJ objected the appointment of foreign prosecutor Khawar Qureshi.

The parties in the case have 14 days to file their preliminary applications which will be heard on January 17, 2019.
