Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna has told off Mumias East MP Peter Salasya over his reverence for opposition leader Raila Odinga.

Known for his outbursts, the lawyer blasted the MP, saying he does not merit to be a parliamentarian.

“You are a certified idiot and doesn’t deserve to be an MP!” He said.

Miguna was reacting to a video doing rounds on social media.

In the video, Salasya is heard telling off National Assembly Deputy Speaker Gladys Shollei, claiming she asked him to apologize to Bomet Women Representative Linet “Toto” Chepkorir over his recent remarks at a public rally.

“I met her [Shollei] along the Parliament corridors and she said she will not allow to speak in the House if I don’t apologize,” he claims.

Further, the first term MP says she will not apologize and should the speaker insist, he will only be going to sign the roll call and go away to “serve his people”.

“She did not bring to Parliament; if that’s the strategy they want to use it is okay,” he adds.

According to Salasya, by attacking Azimio leader Raila Odinga, Toto rattled his supporters.

He insisted that the Bomet county MP should respect political veterans and accept criticism whenever she crosses the line.

During the Azimio anti-government rally in Busia, Salasya lashed out at Toto for disrespecting Raila.

This was in response to the Bomet woman representative’s attack on Raila.

In another viral video, Toto had told off the former Prime Minister over his planned rallies.

“This old man [Raila] started started holding anti-government protests before I was born and he will get nowhere with this,” she had said.
