A 25-year-old woman who has purportedly been defiling a Form 3  boy was yesterday arrested in Ndhiwa town.

Local people said the woman who works as a clerk in a bar tricked the kid with cash in return for sex.

It is said that the woman has been sexually abusing the 17-year-old boy in her home since schools were closed in October.

The boy’s dad on Saturday said that his child had disappeared to an obscure place for four days, after his private teacher who was hired to teach him and his sister reported that the boy was not attending tuition.

“I hired a teacher who was coaching the boy and his sister during the holiday tuition. The teacher has been complaining that the boy was not consistent in attending the lessons,” his father said.

The woman was yesterday found sleeping with the boy after his father and the police stormed her house.

Ndhiwa police commander Evans Ombui said the woman was arrested and detained at Ndhiwa police Station.

She will be arraigned today (Monday).

“Defilement is a criminal offence. We are going to charge her,” Ombui said.
