Woman accused of hacking off husband’s privates denied bond

Maritim went missing after killing wife

A woman accused of murdering her husband by hacking off his private parts has been denied bond.

High Court Judge Joel Ngugi decided that Naomi Nyokabi was a flight risk and could in this manner not be discharged on bond.

State Counsel Amos Chigiti had, in an application, requested that the court deny her bond.

Chigiti told the court that the charged was a flight risk and that whenever discharged, she may escape. He said after the supposed occurrence, the accused was captured by the public as she purportedly attempted to escape the scene.

Justice Ngugi likewise thought about the choice by the accused to pull back her bail application.

Nyokabi told the court that regardless of whether conceded bail, she would not have the option to raise it.

She is said to have hacked off David Gakuru’s manhood following a fight, after which he bled to death.
