West Media Ltd company, a Bungoma -based multichannel has replaced Mr. Nandemu Barasa as the Programmes Manager.

Dalmus Sakali has taken over as the head, overseeing the operations of West FM, Mumbo FM and West Tv.

Mr. Sakali holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Media Technology from Maseno University.

Further, he has attended various Media and Management Workshops organised by BBC and German News channel, Deutsche Welle (DW).

His predecessor Nandemu Barasa wished him well via a Social Media update on Monday morning.

“Congrats my brother Dalmas Sakali. You are equal to your new task. Steer West Media to the greatest point. I know you fit the bill perfectly well.”

Mr. Barasa worked at the station for four years, prior to his appointment as the head a position he held for 10 years.

In July 2022, he left the station to join Parliament as the Media Relations Officer.

The soft spoken Barasa holds a Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Kibabii University and a Diploma in Journalism from ICM.
