Wajinga Nyinyi: Prominent lawyers to offer King Kaka free legal services should Waiguru sue him

Wajinga Nyinyi hit maker, King Kaka.

Popular musician Kennedy Tarriq Ombima aka King Kaka announced earlier today that he has been summoned by the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) over his controversial song that has gripped the attention of the country.

On Monday, Kirinyaga governor Anne Waiguru ordered the Wajinga Nyinyi hit maker to pull down the song from all social media platforms and apologize to her in writing or face legal suit.

Waiguru accused him of occasioning quote irreplaceable and permanent damage to her reputation. The governor argues that the musician defamed her in a verse in the song referring to a National Youth Service (NYS) scandal where she was adversely mentioned.

Meanwhile Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi and some other prominent lawyers have offered free legal services should governor Waiguru file a suit.

Ahmednasir argued that King Kaka did not defame any politicians in his song because the song was highlighting the truth on Kenya’s tattered social fabric.

“I said and I repeat..I will give legal representation to King Kaka against ANYONE who sues him for the lyric Wajinga Nyinyi….UGLY, CRASS and LEWD commentaries on society are PRIVILEGED,” he said on Twitter.
