The government of President Uhuru Kenyatta is set to direct KSH 1.3 trillion to revamp the Big Four Agenda in the next three years.

A report by the local Publication The Star has on Friday reported that Projects tied to food security, health and affordable housing have been lined up by the Jubilee Government.

KSh118 billion is to be injected to the Agriculture sector so as to boost food security in the next three years. Another KSh354 billion has been set aside for Health Care which will ensure affordable healthcare services to Kenyans.

Level 5 hospital funding is set to be increased to Sh4.7. Currently the funding stands at Sh4.3 billion.

The Star Further reveals that Uhuru’s administration seeks to provide Sh350 million towards establishing cancer centers.

Ease of doing business in the country will also be improved, with the government pumping Sh24.5 billion that will be spent in the next fiscal year.

Other sectors that will receive a boost is education, wildlife conservation, Water, construction of 6,462km of new roads and maintain others stretching 108,146 kilometers.

The government also hopes to distribute over 20 million Huduma Namba cards in the next financial year. Kenyans have been informed that by December 2021, Identification cards are going to become null and void.

This huge move by President Uhuru’s government to revamp the Big Four Agenda comes barely two days after a report by a local publication –Taifa Leo- revealed that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto have not delivered to the promises they made Kenyans during the 2017 campaigns.

The President and his DP are left with barely two years to deliver their promises before their tenure comes to an end.
