Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka claims that he has since learned from his folly in supporting Raila Odinga’s third attempt for the presidency.

Speaking on Wednesday, Kalonzo claimed that it took him a great deal of harrowing introspection before he decided to support the former Prime Minister a third time.

“The fool in me ended up supporting Raila for the third time but that fool is wiser now than he was then. I am no fool. It took some painful introspection and I brought it out of the chest.

“I had to sit with my brother Raila, I showed him in black and white what we agreed in writing and from that time I said I’m ready to support my brother Raila,” he told NTV.

Despite the negative things that have been written about him, Kalonzo claimed that he still loves his nation.

Further stating that he is a changed man and will be more than the Buffalo soldier he was in the 2022 General Elections, Kalonzo said that his only goal for Kenyans is that they achieve peace and justice.

“Please Kenyans pray for me so that I’ll not be accused forever of things I’ve never done and now the chickens have come home to roost.”

“All those nay Sayers, indecisive, cannot do anything, watermelon, all those are behind us, gone with 2022. You are looking at a new Kalonzo Musyoka,” he said.

Kalonzo had previously stated that he would be a fool to support Raila Odinga for the presidency a third time in the run-up to the August 2022 general elections.

A few days later, Kalonzo reversed his position and declared his support for Odinga, claiming that he had no choice but to work with the former Prime Minister.
