Teacher charged for defiling Form 2 girl in Bungoma

Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives arrested a teacher whom allegedly defiled a student at Moi Girls School Kamusinga on Tuesday evening in Bungoma County.

The DCI said in a tweet that Willy Wanyonyi Musikali, had been on the run in the past six months when he allegedly committed the offense.

β€œA teacher-Willy Wanyonyi Musikali suspected of defiling a student of Moi Girls High School Kamusinga in June 2018 and has been on the run, was arrested yesterday in Bungoma by Detectives,” read the tweet.

Musikali is accused of having summoned the 14-year-old Form Two girl in the staff room where he began by making sexual advances before defiling her.

β€œHe called me to the staff room where he told me he had missed me. I made it clear to him that he was my teacher and the only relationship we could have was teacher-student. He then grabbed me, bent me over and raped me,” she had reported.

The suspect was Wednesday charged with defilement. He will remain in custody as investigations continue.
