Mycoplasma Genitalium, a little known sexually transmitted infection could become the next superbug. Scientists have issued a warning.

Mycoplasma Genitalium medically identified as MG often has no symptoms but can cause pelvic inflammatory disease, PIDs.

This specifically puts women at the risk of becoming infertile.

MG can be missed and if not treated correctly, can develop resistance to antibiotics.

The British Association of Sexual Health and HIV are launching a set of medical research on the detection and treatment of the disease.
