Nathan Jones

Southampton, an English Premier League team, fired manager Nathan Jones on Sunday.

Chris Cohen and Alan Sheeha, the first team coaches for Southampton, were also fired.

However, the English team revealed that Southampton’s next Premier League match against Chelsea would be under the guidance of First Team Lead Coach Rubén Sellés.

Southampton made this known in a website-based statement.

Jones was fired less than a day after their 2-1 loss to Wolves on Saturday.

“First Team Coaches Chris Cohen and Alan Sheehan have also left the club.

“First Team Lead Coach Rubén Sellés will take charge of training and prepare the team ahead of next weekend’s game against Chelsea.”
