Barely two weeks after the formation of Kenya Kwanza government, it has emerged that Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is an unimaginative and emotional person.

In the recent revelation by President William Ruto’s Digital Strategist Dennis Itumbi, Kenya Kwanza had to devise a way of managing Gachagua’s emotions before the July 26, 2022 Presidential Running mates’ debate.

According to Itumbi, Kenya Kwanza feared Gachagua would lose his temper during the debate.

To manage him, Itumbi says, they hired a lady whose role was “to annoy Rigathi Gachagua.”

“In between the Campaigns, we practiced for the debates. Nothing was taken for granted. We even had a Martha Karua whose brief was to annoy the then DP candidate,” Itumbi said.

After the debate, majority of Kenyans felt Gachagua’s performance exceeded their expectations, with some rating him at above 50%.

However, they did not know the drills DP Gachagua had been subjected to.

“She (the hired lady) did her assignment well..she even went barefoot – literally.” Itumbi wrote on his tweeter handle.
