Renown contractor and businessman found dead in Masinga

Masinga residents and area chief notified police of a parked car Near a market and found Embu businessman murdered in his car.

The car had been parked at Kanyonyoo marketplace in Masinga.

Masinga OCPD Francis Siror said Peter Mwangangi’s arms were tied to the driver’s seat. Police suspect he was injected with poison. Over a hundred 100 poisonous needle were recovered beside his lifeless body.

Residents reported a parked car on the road side to a local administrator who later informed the police of the tip he had received from the public.

The lifeless body of the 53-year-old businessman was in the back seat. The corpse has been booked at Embu Hospital mortuary pending investigations.

The late is said to be a big contractor in Embu County. Witness says he was with couple of friends at the same marketplace before he was brutally murdered.

Police have not made any arrests concerning the matter yet.

Masinga OCPD said he is treating the matter with utmost agency and promised to bring to books the perpetrators of this heinous act.

The vehicle of the late businessman was towed to Masinga Police station.
