President Ruto urges America to invest in Kenya

The United Nations General Assembly entered the second day on Wednesday, With President William Ruto among Heads of State and goverment in attendance.

While on his maiden tour, the President encouraged American businesses to invest in Kenya, said the Statehouse.

“Speaking during a Kenya-US executive business roundtable in New York the President said Kenya’s strong democracy, security, her people and developed infrastructure make a conducive environment for new investments,” read a tweet by the Statehouse.

The roundtable meeting comes ahead of his maiden address to the Assembly at 9pm on Wednesday.

Dr. Ruto is in the US to attend the 77th UNGA session, accompanied by leaders among them Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and Ababu Namwamba.
