Police are looking for a preacher who is said to have defiled and impregnated over 20 girls in Mwingi, Kitui County.

This happened on Wednesday after parents of a young girl who sat this year’s KCPE examination stormed the Pastor’s home requesting to know whereabouts of their little girl.

The pastor has been requesting parents to send their children to him for prayers yet in the wake of going to the said prayers, a portion of the girls supposedly fail to come all the way back.

At the point when the parents of the missing girl raged the pastor’s home, local residents accumulated around and it is then that disclosures started developing of how the pastor has been going after minors in the region, with numerous girls being said to have dropped out of school with others getting pregnant after defilement.

A number of parents asserted that the ‘godly man’ has been giving alcohol to some of the girls before exploiting them.

Mwingi Sub-County OCPD Peter Mutuma affirmed the occurrence, saying more that 10 girls were rescued from rental rooms neighboring the preacher’s home.

The pastor, be that as it may, managed to escape.

His wife has since been captured as investigations concerning the issue proceed.
