Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has on Monday 12th April released the alleged 2022 line up. Reacting to the speculations that the ODM leader Raila Odinga is heading to having an alliance with the DP, Babu owino has rubbished such claims.
Taking to his Social Media accounts Babu Owino has revealed the 2022 line up with Raila as the president and Uhuru as the Prime Minister.
According to the alleged lineup by Babu owino, Kalonzo Musyoka will be Raila’s DP with Gideon Moi & Mudavadi being the Deputy Prime Ministers.
Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho will be the speaker of the National Assembly, and Fred Matiang’I the speaker of the senate.
In Babu Owino’s line up DP William Ruto will be the Opposition leader. However, one ODM top leader was conspicuously left hanging in the line up. Kakamega governor wyckliff Oparanya was nowhere to be seen in the alleged lineup. Mind you, Oparanya has been a life time member of ODM and he has even applied for nominations as the party’s flag bearer in 2022.
Recently reports had alleged that Oparanya was meeting with the DP to find a spot for himself with William Ruto since he is smelling betrayal in ODM. Confirming his meeting with the DP, Oparanya among other details revealed that he asked the DP if he could back his presidential ambitions as reported by The Standard publication.
Netizens responding to Babu Owino’s alleged lineup elicited mixed reactions with others wondering if Uhuru would run as an MP in 2022. Babu Owino confirmed that Uhuru will vie unopposed as the MP Gatundu so as to land the PM seat in 2022.
