Nyamweya questions Mwendwa’s attendance at a Fifa meeting, calls it a “PR gimmick.”

Nyamweya

Sam Nyamweya, a former leader of the Football Kenya Federation, has questioned Nick Mwendwa’s attendance at a Fifa delegation meeting in Nairobi.

Despite failing to attend the Fifa meeting with Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba, beleaguered Mwendwa presided over a meeting between the Fifa delegation and FKF officials after stepping aside to wait for court approval.

Nyamweya who believes it was improper for Mwendwa to attend the meeting and that Doris Petra should have presided over it, has not taken kindly to this.

“Kenyans had every hope that Fifa, through this delegation, was taking the Kenyan case seriously and was committed to sorting out the crisis,” Nyamweya told GOAL.
