Mudavadi maintains will vie for top seat in 2022 polls

Mudavadi said he’s set to start touring Western, Central and Nyanza regions to market his presidential bid ahead of the 2022 race.

ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi says he will not waiver in his 2022 presidential bid.

Mudavadi who spoke in a series of stop-overs in Vihiga County as he attended the burial of the veteran politician Dickson Katibi said he is keen on restoring the economy of this nation.

“I want to tell you that my main aim is to clinch the 2022 presidential seat,” Mudavadi said amid cheers from his supporters.

“I have been speaking about economy because I know that it is the one that is oppressing us,” he added.

In his speech at the burial ceremony Mudavadi also slammed Deputy President William Ruto for turning against the government he served and could blame no one for his current circumstances.

“Deputy President’s bills are all paid by the government… you cannot be feeding and enjoying all the privileges and the packs of that government and then letter as soon as you step out of the cabinet room, you deny the same government that you are part of.”

The ANC leader also revealed he’s set to start touring Western, Central and Nyanza regions to market his presidential bid ahead of the 2022 race.

Mudavadi has been meeting elected and former leaders from the various parts of the country and officials of the various professional groupings at his Mudavadi Centre in Nairobi in the past months.
