MP Salasya face-to-face with Linet Toto after pregnancy remarks

Mumias East MP Peter Salasya on Sunday came face-to-face with Bomet Women Representative Linet “Toto” Chepkorir.

This comes exactly a week after the former had called out Toto for “disrespecting” Azimio leader Raila Odinga.

The two met at a church function in Bomet county, with Salasya taking to Twitter to comment about the event.

“What a successful day and a blessed one when I joined thousands of thousands of ministry of repentance at Bomet stadium,” Salasya posted.

Bomet Governor Dr. Hillary Barchok, MPs Linet Toto, Peter Salasya among other leaders on Sunday February 19, 2023.

On Sunday last week, Salasya at a public rally in Busia threatened to impregnate Toto should she continue to disrespect Mr. Odinga.

The first term MP would later claim in a viral video that National Assembly Deputy Speaker Gladys Shollei had asked him to apologize to his colleague lest he would not be allowed to speak in the House.

However, Salasya told off Ms Shollei, saying the National Assembly does not belong to her.

“I met her [Shollei] along the Parliament corridors and she said she will not allow to speak in the House if I don’t apologize,” he claimed.

“She did not bring me to Parliament; if that’s the strategy they want to use it is okay,” he adds.
