Embu County Assembly Majority Leader Michael Njeru now requests Nominated MCA Terry Mbuchi to vacate the Karurumo Health Centre premises that she has been residing in.
The premises are said to be reserved for medical personnel.
Embu County majority leader, who sums up as Kithimu Ward Representative, said that its humiliating for an MCA to inhabit a low-grade one-bedroomed house with a monthly rent payment of Ksh.800.
The majority leader further recommended Ms. Mbuchi to vacate the servant quarters in order to save her political future.
Mr. Njeru was answering to a report by the Infrastructure and Housing Committee on the effect of occupation of the hospitals servant quarters by a member of the assembly.
Ms Mbuchi is said to have occupied the house when she was a Vocational Training Centre instructor but refused to vacate after her nomination to the county assembly.
