Police in Kiambu have arrested Weithethe ward MCA Hon. Julius Macharia Taki and his driver George Ngugi Kiarie for supposedly driving a vehicle showing a potrait of the Deputy President William Ruto in military exhaustion “depicting him as the Commander in Chief.”

The MCA his driver were booked at Juja police headquarters under OB 93/27/5/2019 at 2010hrs.

The details of capture show that the vehicle showed graphics of the coat of arms and national flag of Kenya thus “contravening section 3 (a) cap L.O.K of the National Flag Emblem and Names of Act.”

The couple will be charged today at Thika Chief Magistrate Court for the offense.

The vehicle is as of now kept at the same station anticipating photography and further examination.
