Monday 10th October, 2022 will be a National Holiday, the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government has declared.
Kenyans will be marking Utamaduni Day, initially Moi Day.
In a statement, the Ministry asked Kenyans to celebrity the Holiday responsibly.
“The public is hereby notified that Monday, 10th October 2022, will be a public holiday (Utamaduni Day),” the ministry said.
Further, the statement reads, “let’s celebrate the rich cultural diversity of Kenya in a manner that promotes our unity, national cohesion, and economic progress.”
