KPL giants Gor Mahia are back in training

Gor Mahia are ready for BPL resumption. The league had been suspended by the government for two weeks now due to high number of Covid-19 cases but the Football Kenya Federation Hade Witten to the Ministry of sports and that of health to allow them resume league.

The Kenya Federation has noted that lack of league action will menace their preparations ahead of the World Cup Qualifiers which is expected to kick off in June with Kenya Placed in Group E alongside Neighbors Uganda Cranes ,Rwanda and Mali.

K’Ogalo have been training for the last three days at Camp Toyoyo ground under the watchful eye of coach Vaz Pinto.

When the league was stopped the defending champions were placed seventh on the log with 22 points after 14 games ,14 points behind league leaders Tusker Fc who have played two more games and they are ready to resume and give their best according to midfielder John Macharia.

“We are eager to return to action and give our best. We started slowly but nothing is impossible in the world of football.” Macharia told Pepeta.

Players from different clubs have already been given their vaccines for the virus and it is expected that action might resume in the coming week where Gor Mahia has a date with Mathare United FC.
