Kimani Ichung’wah on spot as MPs plot to oust him as Majority Leader

Kikuyu Member of Parliament Kimani Ichung’wah who also serves as the National Assembly Majority leader has received bad news.

According to the latest reports by TV47, a section on Members of Parliament especially first-time MPs are not happy with Iching’wah’s leadership and are plotting to oust him.

The first time MPs majorly from the Rift Valley, specifically Bomet & Nandi Counties and Mt.Kenya region now say that the majority leader is high-headed and arrogant. They fear Ichung’wah’s leadership style will fail them in leading UDA troops in parliament.

The MPs are set to hold a Kamukunji on Monday 20th November and brainstorm on how to go about with their ouster plan. This ouster plan comes barely two months after Ichung’wah was appointed the Majority leader of the National Assembly.

On the 6th of October after multiple disagreements between Azimio & Kenya Kwanza over who was the Majority, Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetangula declared Kenya Kwanza as the majority thereby declaring Kimani Ichung’wah as the leader of the Majority. Opiyo Wandayi was announced as the leader of the Minority.

Reacting to the news, a number of netizens agree with the MPs saying that Kimani Ichung’wah is an arrogant leader, and they fully agree with the ouster plan.
