Ingwe set to sign new players

Kenya Premier League side AFC Leopards will augment its squad in the following transfer window.

Ingwe right now is in an unpopular position, sitting at position 17 on the 18-team-table with 10 points, one above bottom placed, Mount Kenya United.

AFC Leopards Secretary-General Oscar Igaida conceded that the club needs to add more players next season to help the team.

“We will definitely make some changes in the team by signing about three to four players to help the team get out of current state,” he said.

Igaida further expressed that the club executives will work with the team’s head coach Andre Cassa Mbungu when making the signings.

“It is the coach who will identify positions he wants to strengthen and we will rely on him when acquiring new players,” he added.

Ingwe dismal performance has not run down well with the fans who are demanding the club’s authorities to leave offices and new ones appointed.
