Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha on Monday, November 18, 2019, released the 2019 KCSE results.
Releasing the results CS Magoha noted an overall improvement in the examination as compared to 2018.
The top student Michael Munyiri scored 440 marks followed by three others, scoring 439 each.
According to the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC), to get the results, SMS the ‘index number’ followed by ‘KCPE’ in capital letters to 20076.
Candidates will also get access to results via an online KNEC portal where they can enter their exam credentials. Often, the online system is hit by many requests, and does not work for a couple of hours. It is, however, advised to verify SMS results with those posted on the site.
