Gor Mahia drops points against Ulinzi Stars in Kisumu

Gor Mahia was held by Ulinzi Stars to a goalless draw in a tough Kenya Premier League (KPL) match at Moi Stadium in Kisumu on Saturday 30th, November.

Gor’s three forwards struggled to penetrate the Ulinzi’s solid defence which looked organised and alert throughout the game.

In spite of late efforts by Gor, the Soldiers held on to collect their 18th point this season.

Elsewhere, AFC Leopards forced a 2-2 draw against hosts Nzoia Sugar in another tough match played at Mumias Sports Complex in Mumias.

Nzoia scored via Thomas Wainaina and Abraham Kipgogei, while Ingwe found the back of the net through Boniface Mukhekhe and Austine Otieno.

Kariobangi Sharks’ poor run was extended after their 2-5 loss to KCB in a match that was staged at the MISC Kasarani.

Simon Munala opened the scoring for KCB before Duke Abuya leveled the scores and Masaba Julias put Sharks ahead in the 27th minute. Five minutes later, Sharks conceded through Otieno’s strike. Samuel Mwangi and Enock Agwanda’s goals were enough to pick three points for the visiting bankers.

Wazito FC humiliated Chemelil Sugar at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos following a 6-0 thrashing.
