Full list of Ruto’s allies allegedly facing possible axing from Tanga Tanga for failing to deliver

A report by The Kenyan report publication dated Monday 29th March has alleged that there are several leaders allied to Deputy William Ruto that are facing possible eviction from the party.

According to the publication, the Members of Tanga Tanga, a faction linked to the DP have led to the underperformance that was witnessed in the recently concluded By-Elections.

DP Ruto’s allies have been fronting their preferred candidates through the United Democratic Alliance, and they were only able to win one by election, which was the London Wars in Nakuru County.

And now, the publication reports that following the underperformance in UDA, the pin pointed leaders could face axing for misleading the DP into thinking that the ground was ripe for his 2022 presidential bid.

This is after pundits revealed that the poor performance by UDA in the by-elections was a bad sign to the DP if at all he was going to use the party as his political vehicle come 2022.

The leaders allegedly pocket millions of shillings weekly to popularize the DP ahead of his 2022 presidential bid but they are yet to yield results. And the recently concluded by-elections were being used as the litmus test.

The Kenyan Report has alleged that leaders who are facing the axing include the chair of the UDA party Johnstone Muthama who failed to deliver the Machakos senatorial seat. UDA was floored by Wiper’s Agnes Kavindu. Others are Sirisia MP John Waluke, Boni Khalwale (Former Kakamega Senator), Rashid Echesa, John Kiarie, Millicent Omanga, Mumias East MP Ben Washiali, Sylvanus Osoro and Didmus Barasa.

These allegations come barely a week after the DP revealed that he has a plan B if at all things don’t go as planned in Jubilee. Ruto revealed that he would make UDA a National party with the same brains and might he used to make Jubilee into a National Party.
