Ex Nairobi County official Dr. Robert Ayisi has succumbed to COVID-19 convolutions, his family affirmed on Thursday morning.

Dr. Ayisi died while receiving treatment at the Mater Hospital in Nairobi

The deceased was the  Nairobi County Secretary during Evans Kidero’s reign as the Nairobi govonor.

Before being appointed in 2016, Dr. Ayisi served as the Nairobi City Council’s Medical Health official from 2009-2014 preceding being designated Health Chief Officer in July 2014.

Current Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko was on Monday compelled to eat an unassuming pie after he took to online media to post a phony passing caution of Dr. Ayisi which was later excused by his family as he was as yet alive at that point.

Sonko, in the now withdrawn post, said he will “be associated with his function in smoothing out the wellbeing area in Nairobi County.”
