Veteran goal-poacher Dennis Oliech on Wednesday signed a two-year deal with Kenyan Premier League defending champions Gor Mahia FC.

Oliech signed the deal at 1.00pm at the private offices of club’s chair Ambrose Rachier in Nairobi’s Upperhill.

The financial details were not made public.

According to the club, Dennis Oliech impressed Gor’s first coach Hasan Oktay after three days of training.

“We signed Oliech on recommendation of the technical bench. They have assessed him and believe he’s a player who will add value to the squad,” Rachier said.

“We wanted to beef the striking force and we thought instead of sourcing for another striker outside the country, we can work with Dennis due to his experience and talent,” club CEO Lordvick Aduda said:

“The coach approved him and says he thinks Oliech will help him achieve what he wants at the club in terms of our striking force,” he added.
