Police in Kisii County are chasing down a man blamed for defiling his 17-year-old niece in Nyabimwa town.
Kisii County police boss Martin Kibet affirmed the occurrence saying that the 40-year-old suspect went into hiding when he realized that police officers were looking for him.
“The man repeatedly defiled the girl to the extent he has sired two kids with her. The girl’s 3-months-old baby died and this is when villagers reported the matter to police for the man to be arrested,” he said.
Kibet said once the man will be captured, a DNA test will be done to decide the paternity of the suffering youngster.
