Chief Justice David Maraga and his wife Yucabeth Nyaboke have been rushed to War Memorial Hospital Nakuru after a road accident.

I t is reported that the Supreme Court president was travelling with his wife to church in Ngata when their car was hit by another at Miti Moja.

Regional traffic commandant Ziro Arome said the accident that occurred at about 10.45am.

Maraga and his wife sustained injuries, but reports from the War Memorial Hospital say they are all in a stable condition.

The driver also sustained non-life threatening injuries, an official said.

Arome said the vehicle which hit the CJ’s car was speeding.
