German based football giants Bayern Munich squad has suffered another blow after James Rodriguez medical report said he has to be out for several weeks. The Colombian tore a left knee ligament.
The 27-year-old Colombian was injured in a training session on Tuesday. The club medical officer said he will need at least a week before he starts his therapy.
“Bayern will be forced to do without James Rodriguez for the coming weeks,” said the clubs chief therapist.
The injury comes at the worst time for the Germany giants who have dropped to 5th position in the Bundesliga. Bayern were hammered 3-2 by the current leaders Borussia Dortmund last week.
Bayern injury bench has vital midfielders like Corentin Tolisso, Kingsley Coman and now James Rodriguez. Bundesliga resumes next week after an international break.
