Bahati Member of Parliament Kimani Ngunjiri is hiding after getting news of his looming capture by police in Nakuru town.

Ngunjiri on Tuesday evening led the “anti-washenzi” demonstrations in Nakuru town with a swarm of youth at tow, censuring President Uhuru Kenyatta’s ‘washenzi’ remark.

As indicated by reports, Ngunjiri fled through Kokeb’s lodging’s back door where he was addressing a gathering of youth.

Nakuru County Police boss Hassan Barua and the region OCPD Samuel Obara have propelled a man-chase for the MP.

The lawmaker had on Sunday, January 6 requested that the President resign and call for new presidential election if running the nation was a problem for him.

While addressing the presss in Nakuru, the MP said President Kenyatta had ignored his people.

He further said that the Kikuyu people keeps on suffering under the Jubilee government.

His remarks had come after Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria blamed the President for ignoring his home turf while initiating development projects in other areas.
