The vetting process for Cabinet Secretary appointees continued Tuesday for a second day.

The appointees were picked by President William Ruto, who has always referred to himself as a ‘self-made hustler’.

During the preelection campaigns, the President’s Kenya Kwanza outfit promised to bring ‘hustlers’ on board in the leadership.

However, it has emerged that most of the appointees are billionaires, a clear revelation that President Ruto reneged on his promises.

Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, has weighed in to define who Kenya Kwanza meant by ‘hustler’.

“There are hustlers and sufferers in this country,” part of his tweet reads.

On Tuesday, Cabinet Secretary Interior and Coordination appointee Kithure Kindiki, revealed that his net worth is Sh 544 million, a day after Mudavadi estimated his net worth at Sh 4 billion.
