ODM Party leader Raila Odinga has said that his party will organize nationwide prayers for the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

After a roundtable discussion with senators from the Azimio party earlier today, Raila made this announcement while surrounded by various opposition party leaders.

Raila made the announcement during a news conference that Azimio will offer prayers for the IEBC at its Anniversary Towers offices the next week.

“We will also be doing prayers for the IEBC. The prayers will be done in front of the premises of IEBC sometime next week,” Raila said.

Raila made the announcement while also declaring that his protest for electoral justice will pick up this week as he has scheduled a number of rallies across the nation.

“This week we will be in Kisii on Friday then on Saturday we will be in Kisumu,” the opposition chief said.
